This is why I generally prefer them older.

The above article reminded me how stunned I was by the art for 2666. The cover is absolutely breathtaking. I may have to buy a paperback copy in addition to my hardcover. Both were designed by Charlotte Strick, a FSG designer. I’ve been going through her portfolio for a bit this morning as a reward for staying at Butler until 4am last night. Her work is amazing!
