things of little relevance

brideshead revisited, literally

Even though I already own a copy of Brideshead Revisited, this cover was too beautiful to pass up. Look at those wing-tips! And the plum socks!

This means two things:

1. I have reached the point in life when I start buying multiple copies of a book for the cover design. Up next—hot flashes.

2. I have reached the point in the semester when I start making irrational decisions based purely on aesthetics and proximity.

As far as irrational decisions on aesthetics and proximity go, I am definitely enabling you by telling you to “pick the study spot closest to your current location”.
